Troubleshooting the insufficient pressure of the electric lubrication pump

There are generally two types of reasons for insufficient pressure in the lubricating oil pump. One is a problem with the pipeline of the lubricating pump, and the other is a problem with the lubricating pump itself. Insufficient pressure in the lubricating pump affects the working progress of the equipment to a certain extent, and even affects the quality of the equipment. It is necessary to promptly eliminate and solve the problem.

To distinguish whether it is a problem with the pipeline or the lubrication pump, there is a small solution: remove the main oil pipe. When the lubrication pump is working, use a plug to block the oil outlet of the lubrication pump, and then drain the oil. In the case of blockage, if the pressure gauge shows zero, then there is a problem with the oil pump. It is necessary to troubleshoot the problem with the oil pump. If the pressure rises, the pressure displayed on the pressure gauge is normal, (Normally, the normal working pressure of the thin oil pump is between 1.5-2MPA), then there is a problem with the pipeline and it is necessary to troubleshoot the problem.

1. Troubleshooting pipeline issues

1. First, check if there is oil in the oil tank of the lubrication pump and if the oil level exceeds the marked lower level. If there is no oil, add oil and do not fill it below the marked lower level. The correct corresponding oil product needs to be used.

2. If the main oil pipe leaks, it is necessary to check the main oil pipe to eliminate the phenomenon of leakage. If cracks are found, the main oil pipe should be replaced in a timely manner.

3. The branch oil pipe leaks, and when the oil pump is pressurized, there is a serious oil leakage from the branch oil pipe. It is necessary to check the branch oil pipe and replace it.

4. The oil inlet is blocked. Check if there are any flocculent floating objects or sediment at the bottom of the oil tank. If there are some, it is basically the oil inlet that is blocked. It is necessary to disassemble the oil tank, remove the filter screen of the oil suction port, and clean it thoroughly. Clean the oil tank, and then install it again.

5. After checking the oil circuit, if there is a distributor, it is also necessary to check the distributor. If the distributor is blocked, this type of problem can also occur. Repair the distributor or replace the distributor.

6. If there is an external filter at the outlet of the oil pump, you can also check to see if the filter is blocked. Tighten all transmission components and replace defective standard parts.

2. Troubleshooting oil pump issues

1. The pressure gauge is damaged, and the oil pump is producing oil normally, but there is no pressure. It is possible that the pressure gauge is damaged, and the pressure value of the oil pump shows zero. It is necessary to replace the pressure gauge of the oil pump separately.

2. The pressure relief valve (overflow valve) of the oil pump emits oil during operation. During operation, the white hexagonal nut at the gear pump position can leak out. If there is oil leakage, the pressure relief valve needs to be removed for cleaning or replaced.

4. The gear pump has insufficient suction, resulting in insufficient lubrication pump pressure. The gear pump can be replaced.
